Robert Plant - Up The Sharp End - Abravanel Hall - Thursday 8th October 2026. 7pm doors open. Robert Plant is also known for his forays into world music and as such his live performances are always unpredictable. Since his hugely successful collaboration with Alison Krauss, Plant has returned to his solo work and has put out a number of albums that continue to explore the many boundaries of rock music.
Speaking of collaborations, this tour is very much a family affair; a ton of different performers are going to be joining Robert Plant on stage. What we know from previous performances is that this is not your typical show where there's an opening act, and they come off to make way for whoever's next. Robert Plant shows are usually like high-end gigs where you'll see incredibly talented performers share the stage and serenade the audience with unique live renditions of tracks that you know and love. One Night Only: Robert Plant “Up The Sharp End” Tour comes to Abravanel Hall Thursday, October 8, 2026. As Robert Plant continues to traverse the world in a most intense and exciting tour schedule, for one night only he will bring his show to Salt Lake City, Utah’s Abravanel Hall, exploring all the facets and the very best of all that comprises the artistic DNA of this iconic artist, incorporating all of the most beloved and most celebrated parts of his iconic Led Zeppelin past, as well as some of the latest sounds and the latest collaborative work that Plant has developed in his most recent projects, including his award winning collaborative work with Alison Krauss for which he was awarded his eighth Grammy in 2021 for “Raise The Roof”.
The concert will feature a mix of songs from throughout Plant’s career, including many of the biggest hits from his time with Led Zeppelin, as well as material from his solo work, and songs from his time with Band of Joy and other collaborators. He even performed songs from his most recent collaborative effort with Alison Krauss, Raise the Roof (2021), for which he won his 8th Grammy. The Up The Sharp End tour is a great chance to hear songs from all points in Plant’s career.
Abravanel Hall is a Venue located at 123 West South Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Venue has superb surround sound and a very intimate setting with seating arranged in several sections of very comfortable seats. The venue's seating capacity is 2,800 seats.
